Well, I just looked at this blog and it almost brought tears to my eyes. Writing this post almost brings tears to my eyes. This blog brings back so many memories, both sad and happy. I remember being devastated when Casey left for college, then beyond overjoyed when she came home for her first break. Then, I was only seven years old. Now, I am proud to be the "ripe old age" of eleven. Erin is the mature age of sixteen and driving, Caleb is a freshman in college, and I am proud to say that Casey is graduating college in May and moving on to medical school. So much has passed and happened since we started this blog, and I wrote so often because Casey said that she would check it all the time, so I always made sure she would have something to read and maybe comment. It was one of our only ways of communication when she wasn't on her breaks. I loved writing, and posting on a blog was a wonderful way to express it, especially knowing that my older sister (my second mother) would be reading it. My older sister Erin was only 12, Caleb was 15, and Casey was 17 when she moved in. Although I have gotten used to her being gone from the house, I still miss her once in a while. We had a relationship that was like none other. She had practically raised me, and when she left it was like my own mother leaving. Even though I won't see her at her usual break times when she moves on to medical school, she will always be with me in my heart.
I love you more than you'll ever know, Casey, and I will keep loving you forever, until I die, when I'll love you even more than I do now when I'm in Heaven.
God bless all of you, and live your life to the fullest.
Love ya!

Christmas Eve!
I can't believe Christmas Eve is already here! We just got back from my grandma's house, Mom's side of the family. :) We had plenty of food!
Whoever is reading this, please pray for my Grandma, she's had cancer and chemo, and she was almost non-responsive. She's kind of groggy and tired right now, but she's out of the hospital and doing much better now, she might die soon, but let's hope the Lord does a miracle!!!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!

Photos
Well this is sort of it, but actually this is better! I can show you th
e other photos. The one I was talking about is the bottom left one. Isn't it awesome! It's Caleb's fave. Mine too. :) So we'll be sending Christmas cards with that pic on it. This is why I call it the "not every family in the USA would do this kind of Christmas card" photo. Maybe I can find a single photo of it. But I like the other photos alot too. There's the 'Abbey Road' one but with the four kids! :) I hope you like these photos and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!!!
P.S. Please pray for Casey as she goes through her finals and to have a safe trip home.
Thanks for reading,

Today,quick quick,quick!
Well today is Sunday, that means that we have to go to church in an hour, at the most. But I think I have enough time.
Yesterday we went to auditions for the Octavians play, "It's a Wonderful Life". I love that movie! But it's a play. I spoke the part of young Mary. It was fun! I memorized my whole monologue in about 5 minutes. Well I have to go now,

Whoops! It's been 8 days since my last post!

I'm very sorry for not writing on the blog. But I was waiting for the internet to work. We're back home now and our power is good. Thank goodness! A tree that Erin and Casey planted is tilting, but we'll put some sticks up to help it. :) Nana and Pete are staying with us until they get water. They brought their puppy, Sassy Britches, with them! She was very active at first, but she got calmer every day. She's used to seeing us, so when she goes back home she'll be like, "where Is everybody?" :) So Nana brought her home for a while. This pic is almost what she looks like but white and poofy. Her face looks like this. We are still waiting for them to get back. I've got to go wash pots now.
Bye! :) <><

Same day, different time

This is 5:00 exactly when I wrote this. Today we went to Ms. Ferra's house for Daddy to work on her car. I guess it was pretty bad. While they were outside me,Caleb and Erin played the Wii that they had. It was fun! We played the bowling game, and the boxing game! Both of the games were absoloutley fantastic!!! Well I pretty much have to go now! I know that makes no sense but I hope you follow me. This is me and Casey again!!!......yeah...were pretty weird.
Alrighty, goodbye!

Hurricane Gustav
Well, here we go again! A train of hurricanes, tropical storms and wanna-be's are heading our way... at present. Everyone in south Louisiana is in frenzy mode. It's hard to find gas, water, and any other necessity... and the storm is at least 3-4 days away. But Louisiana is being very cautious this time especially on the 3rd anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Contra flow should begin Saturday evening out of New Orleans if Gustav still looks like he may come our way.
We are waiting and seeing. If it looks dangerous or at least strong enough to knock out power for a week, then we will head north to Tallulah and wait it out. We already had a trial run power outage when our A/C went on the fritz yesterday. We all slept, camp-out style, on the floor of our school room because it was the only room with a window unit A/C. (It was kind of fun!) But we had A/C and fans and in a true power outage we would have nothing! So....we will go north in that case. (By the way our A/C was fixed the following morning by my more than able husband! Yea! Herb!)

Taking the trip to Casey's college
Today when we were waking up from the hotel and going to breakfast, we had a really good breakfast. After that we went to Millsaps which was about 5 minutes away. We had to unpack all Casey's boxes and bags out of the car. Some of the students helped us. They told her where her dorm room was and we helped her set it up. Her roommate Brittany was really nice. After that, we went to Walmart and got some more things. Then we went to lunch at Keifer's and had a really nice lunch. We went back to the college and unloaded the stuff from Walmart. Then we went to a reception and got a cookie. Then it was about 30 minutes until we had to leave. We went back to the dorm and finished it up. Then she rode with us to get her car. The rest of the family got in the van and she got in her car and she followed us back. She honked her horn at us and waved and then she turned into the college. After that we started our trip back to home. On our way out of Jackson, we went to Bass Pro Shops and after that we went to Baskin Robbins and got an ice cream! Then we drove back to Hammond.

Casey going to college
Well, today we had to work on the e-mail because it messed up. We are packing-well, Casey is packing for her trip up to college. It's sad, but it's exciting because we get to send her stuff and do this blog and she said said that she's going to come home at my B-day and for sure coming home at Christmas! I cried twice because she was moving, I mean come on, she's my sister!...but...I get over it. Well, I'm really excited because...well you know. I hope whoever is reading this enjoys it. Goodbye!
